My son, John, who's 22, took an IQ test last night. Now, John's dyslexic, never did well in school and generally enjoys the physical to the mental. This was an online IQ test, which I've taken before and got a 135 on. My 15-year-old, who's considered a gifted child despite the fact he's flunking out of school, is also a 135. Friend of mine, a physics professor, got a 140. John, my heavy metal, mohawk wearing, pierced ears child scored a 129!
Which means he can't use the 'I'm too dumb to figure that one out' whenever I ask him to do something that needs a little brain power. I'm going to have to start calling him my Einstein.
I'm semi-steadily working on the sequel to Pretend You Love Me. It's tentatively titled Pretend You Don't Care. What do you think? LOL Right now, the characters are at a fabulous country estate which also happens to be the H's grandparents' abode. Should be interesting.
